Really need help

Hello there every one
i'm new here, never tried to enter a forum before, but i really need to get some thing sorted hoping one of you guys will have the answer.

i have baught a PCG-6N1M windows XP proffesional, but for some reason since yesterday every time i try to login it comes up with a black screen that includes many options IE safe mode. regardless what i choose any of the options i still get back to the same black screen.

i have not done a recovery disk for the system, and i have no CDS with the PCs, because Windows was already installed and i really need to get this computer runing before the end of this week.

so if any of you know what do i have to do please let me know and i would be really greatful

I think your model is the VGN-SZ3VWP/X.

Have you tried going to 'Last Known Good Configuration' with the arrow keys and then press Enter? The other one that normally works is Safe Mode.

Do you get any warning messages - perhaps on a blue screen? What did you do just before it went like this?

If you have data on the Vaio that you need, then answer these questions and we will see where we go from there.

If you don't need anything on the Vaio, then you can probably return your Vaio to its factory settings (exactly like it was when first purchased) by carrying out a Full Recovery of the System. To do this, tap F10 when you start the Vaio - when you see the first Vaio Logo - this should start the Recovery Utility. If you do this though, you will lose any data or programs you have added. You will also have to do all Vaio and Microsoft Updates again. If you decide to do this Full Recovery, make sure you are plugged into the mains and do not interrupt the Recovery even if it appears to have stopped.
