I have a Sony VAIO pocket music player....I have a few questions...
1. It uses a [censored] format called ATRAC. Is there any way of hacking it so it can use MP3 or WAV instead? (IE be compatable with everything else)
2. Is there any way that it can be used WITHOUT Sonic Stage? I don't like bloatware on my PC, and now that I have a new PC, I don't want it or the the associated rubbish that comes with it.
I use Foobar with everything else and would like to use it with the VAIO player as well.
3. [Using Sonic Stage on my old PC] the volume of tracks copied onto the player from CDs was EXTREMELY LOW. I have software that can increase the volume of MP3s (Mainly 'Burrrn'), so can bounce files back and forth if need to, but, to save me the hassle, is there any way I can do it player end?
