Hi
I am having a problem playing mp3s through any player. I mainly use Itunes, but have also used other players. Thing is the mp3 starts to play ok and then starts to stutter like the processor is running at 100%. I have checked the % used of the processor and it is not even running at 50%. The Laptop I have is 2.80 GHZ with 512mb ram so it should be more than ample to play this while allowing me to surf the net or even use word, but the problem arises even if I am not doing anything. I have asked a friend who has said it might be the driver for my sound card, but when I have looked at the Sony site there does not seem to be any new drivers for the sound card.

Sound Driver Used: - Sigma Tel Audio
Anyone got any ideas??
