Problem with task bar clock

Good afternoon Gentlemen,

I have a problem with the clock (digital) on my task bar.

When clocks changed to Summer Time a little while ago my laptop did not auto correct as it should have done.

Today when I switched laptop on at c 12.00 hours the clock on taskbar was reading c 19.00 hours.

Can anyone please suggest what has happened to the clock function on my laptop?

Thank you for any help.

Gyron

I assume you have set the date and the time zone correct.
There is probably a battery in the unit that buffers to clock when the VAIO is not connected to the mains or with the battery inserted, and as it is an older unit this battery might have gone flat.
Does this also happen when you keep your AC-adapter connected and powered?

Thank you for your reply stone69.

Time & zone set correct at GMT etc.
Auto adjust clock for daylight saving box ticked
Internet time auto synchronise with internet time server box ticked

However, when 'pressing'the update now button for time.windows.com - I get the message 'An error occurred while winows was synchronising with time.windows.com.

Turning off firewall does not help situation.

AC adapter always on when using laptop. internet usually connected all the time when computer in use.

Battery indicator always shows battery to be full.
