I have a Vaio VGN-AR31E which came with Vista Home Premium installed. Also installed was a trial offer for MS Office 2003 which I do not need as have installed Office 2007. I uninstalled 2003 but am often asked for that product code as think there must be a file relating to that still floating about but I know not where alas ! I think I found it once but it would not delete as a message came up that the link was missing.
My problem now is that when I try to launch dowloaded software I get a message to the effect that I "do not have the admin. rights to install software. (My MS Office 2007 is registered and I think the problem lies somewhere with the 2003 trial)
Any advice would be most welcome as this is driving me crazy!
PS tried downloading MS windows installer cleanup but this did not seem to work (for Vista?)
