NO Sound on TV via HDMI with BluRay Disc

Updated WinDVD to latest version; updated Sigma driver.
Played Spidey3 on the laptop and both sound and picture works
Played a normal dvd on the laptop and hooked it to the tv via hdmi and both sound and picture works
test sounds via control panel on TV via HDMI works
BUT when i play spidey 3 on the tv I can get no sound at all [analogue speakers disabled]

Anyone got a fix please as one of the purposes for the FZ21Z purchase was to use as a BD player.

sorry I cant help, but to say I have the same problem. I connectd to my sons HD sony TV to see how the Bluray films look on a big screen, but could not play sound on the tv - had to put up with sound from the viao speakers, not quite the qual i wanted!
silly me did not try an ordinary DVD so dont know if that would have worked. i wondered if i needed to also connect an audio lead to headphone socket.
