Although I can control the brightness using the FN+F5/F6 keys, there is nor brightness option on the windows mobility centre or available in the power profile options.
This means that I can't set the screen brightness to be lower in battery mode than in full power mode.
But this problem only occurs in stamina mode, i.e. using the Intel 845 display adapter rather than GEOforce adapter on the switchable display of the SZ3.
I am using VISTA with all updates except Sony Power Management which doesn't work (error when ever i try and use it and it doesn't seem to do much more than control what happens when I open the lid.)
Any idea how I can restore this functionality?
