Lost 'Blue' Function Keys

I seem to have lost the facilty to use the 'blue' function keys on my Vaio Laptop.
Cannot change brightness or swap between laptop screen and projector.
Any suggextions from anyone?

You disabled anything in msconfig recently? if so enable 'VAIO Event Service' under the services tab.

You will probably have to reinstall the following Sony Utilities - and in this order: -

1. Sony Utilities
2. Sony Shared Library
3. Vaio Event Service

You don't give your model but the Original Utilities Package is usually downloadable from here: -
