Installing MCE after Vista

I recently upgraded my XL201 to Vista, which I had to apply a BIOS update for the NVIDIA card. After quite a lot of fighting with system it still has issues which has caused me to choose to return to MCE. However when I try to install MCE in the first phase (Setup is starting windows), before any options are set, the XL201 crashes out with a blue screen and the following error code: 0xF7802524, 0xC0000034, 0x00000000, 0x00000000
As I stupidly didn´t make any recovery CDs, I was forced to try to make a custom install CD using a very good guide which I found in the forum, but I still get the same blue screen.
Can anyone point me in the right direction please?

Hi Barkingtoad,

Your XL201 has a hidden HD recovery partition.

Start your XL201 and press F10 when you see the Vaio logo, this should start the recovery process..
