i need help!!!!!!!!!instaling xp in VGN-FE41M

hi everybody!!!

i install XP on my VGN-FE41M using FE31M drivers but i have some problems with some drivers:
-network controller
-PCI device
-USB device

I,m waiting for our answers.

Hi mr z and welcome to Club Vaio,

All the drivers should be OK from the FE31M.

Have you tried manually installing these? Find these devices with errors in Device Manager and right-click on them one by one. Choose 'Update Driver'. Choose to install it manually by browsing your computer. Say you have the disc and browse to the folder C:\Drivers (or wherever you put the downloaded drivers for the FE31M).

Yes i make that, but it told me that it doesn't find the drivers.

What doesn't have a driver?

You can probably find some drivers on the manufacturers website for the particular parts that do not work.

Hello from Paris, (VGN-FE41M)

I installed XP without problem, but now some functions doesn't work. (wifi, lan, audio ... )

I have exactly the same problem. The drivers from Sony site doesn't work.

What can I do ?

Well the WIFI is a 3945ABG card so you will have to search for that on the intel site.

As for the LAN that is also Intel but i am not sure what the card is called.

The Audio is a little more tricky because it is by Sigmatel who were recently bought out and currently don't have an official drivers site so you will have to search Google for that. Its the High Definition Codec driver that you need.
