How to install graphics driver

ive got n21s vaio, wanted to update my intel graphics driver and wanted to know how whether or not i have to uninstall first etc.

i have Intel(R) Graphics Media Accelerator Driver - Mobile Intel(R) 945GM Express Chipset Family

Hi a4dil,

Sony usually prevent you from installing this driver direct from the Intel Download site. You will probably find that the self-installing .EXE file download does not work.

You will need to download the .ZIP driver version and extract the files to a temporary directory. You can then install the driver by going to Device Manager -> Display Adapters and right-clicking on the Intel GMA card, choosing 'Update Drivers'. Do not let Windows search but tell it to use the driver in the temporaty directory.

By using 'Update Driver' there is no need to uninstall the old one.

If you are using Vista, you need the
