How to identify whether 32 or 64 bit?

I appreciate that this is a very basic question but how do I determine whether my AR21S is 32 or 64 bit? It does not seem to mention anything in the technical specification and quite often you seem to have a choice of drivers being 32 or 64 and I am unsure which applies to my laptop.

It is the processor architecture that determines if you can run 64-bit or just 32-bit. All Core 2 Duo processors are capable or running 64-bit applications but I don't think any PC is sold with a 64-bit operating system installed. There simply is not support in the way of drivers and application software. Your Intel Core 2 Duo Processor T7200 is running in 32-bit mode - Sony don't support 64-bit.

There are considerable performance advantages to 64-bit but it is not a practical solution for 99% of users - perhaps in two/three years time?
