Hi hanudoc and welcome to Club Vaio.
Unfortunately, your Vaio is not designed to connect to an external screen. All the connections are INPUTS only - to display other equipment signals on your Vaio screen.
The only way you can get a video signal out of your Vaio M1 is through the USB Ports. This will not give a very satisfactory picture.
Have a Google for "USB to TV" to see if you can find something suitable. The only one I can find is very expensive: -

i also noted that my desktop has a PC CARD slot
can i use that to connect to lcd tv/monitor
