Help With Blu-ray Disc on Laptop

hey,

I have a Sony Vaio VGN-FZ21S

And it says it has a Blu-ray disc comco BD-ROM

Does this mean it can play Blu-ray DVDS, as it wont.

I have tried various differnt Blu-ray DVDS that work on my PS-3 but not on my Laptop 😞

Hi LouisBibby and welcome to Club Vaio.

Yes, your FZ21S should PLAY Blu-Ray discs (but it cannot record to BD Discs).

To play a BD Disc you must use the 'WinDVD BD for VAIO' software supplied and preinstalled. You need to check that you have the latest version installed (InterVideo WinDVD BD 8.0.8.425).

Updates can be downloaded from HERE or by visiting Vaio Update.
