Graphic card location for VGC V2S

Hello forum. Is there anyone that could tell me where the graphics card is located in the VGC V2S. Thanks in advance for any help. Vic.

Hi Vic,

I'm not sure exactly where it is but your nVidia GeForce FX Go5700 is a LAPTOP graphics chip and not an interchangeable card as you would find in a desktop - so you will not be able to change it as it will be soldered into the motherboard.

So what your saying is that it's impossible for an upgrade even by Sony.

Hi Vic,

Unfortunately, Sony will not upgrade nVidia "Go" laptop graphics. Even if it were possible and someone else would be prepared to try, I doubt that it can be financially viable.

There are literally hundreds of soldered connections.

Have you tried using an up-to-date driver from here: -

Thanks again, I did go to the site but what I know about pc's is dangerous to say the least, so I was'nt sure which driver to download.
