What do you mean by "broken"?

On the reader is a model code - search that on google and you will probably find lots of people selling them.

The pins inside have become a bit mangles I've tried to realign but it just wont take the memory, I have tried a search on good but to no-avail, would it be worth trying sony?

Is it the Sony MemoryStick Pro Slot in your Vaio that is damaged or is it an adaptor that's damaged..

Is it the Sony MemoryStick Pro Slot in your Vaio that is damaged or is it an adaptor that's damaged.. 

It is the separate card reader which is removable and pushes into the side. It reads SD MMC etc

If the card adaptor is damaged then you could try contacting Sony Vaio-Link to ask if they can supply you with a replacement..
