FE-41Z + Vista & Wireless Networks - comments please

Hi,

I've had a real nightmare with getting my FE-41Z to connect to my wireless network. For hours Vista was unable "to locate ANY wireless networks" Even tho I already have 3 other wireless devices on the network, that and the fact my neighbours network can be picked up from inside my house.

Eventually, I figured out that if I went in to Device Manager for the wireless "card" and manually set the channel to match the one being broadcast by my router, it was picked up.

My question is, why no Auto Scan on the laptop???

Has any one else had any problems with wireless connections on Vista?

Hi,
I got the same laptop but I didn't have any problems with the internet connection or the router. The only problem I had was that my laptop couldn't find the other computers from my network but eventually it worked. But I don't know why!!!
