I came into the office the other day after the weekend, plugged in my notebook into the docking bay and waited for it to start-up and to my surprise the external monitor won't work even though I haven't played with or changed any settings since it lst worked. Tried restarting without it connected. Connected it afterwards and it regestered the monitors existance. Reset all the settings I knew of. Tried another monitor and still nothing. It's happened once or twice before but never for this long and I can't see how I can remedy it this time. The only possible anomaly I can see is that in the device manager it lists 2 x Default Monitors and 2 x Sony Notebook LCDs and apparently they are all working properly. Should I delete/disable 1 of each of these? What else can I do?
