Hi, just got an AR41S. As I own Acronis TrueImage v10 I would like to use this tool, I know well, to manage safety backup and possible recovery of my system. I am looking for the right scenario, if there is one:
1)First, use TrueImage to backup the whole C: drive on an external USB hard drive in case some goes wrong. Will it bach up the hidden partition too?
2) delete the original Vaio hidden recovery partition. Question: will Vista boot without this partition? The Master boot record may now be pointing the wrong way ?
3)If Vista boots, proceed with new TrueImage backup of partition C:
This cleaned last backup will be of better practical use than one which bring me back to the factory state.
