Command and Conquer: Generals / Zero Hour

Hi, this has been an on going battle for me to see if there is any way of playing Generals or Zero on a Vaio VGN-AR21s Sony Laptop. What it doesn't tell you on the website is some games won't work on it, anger aside, has any one come across any way off getting around this, i mean there are ways u can play Mac stuff on Windows there must be a way

Well I am double Posting i know this probably is breaking some sort of rule but i have good reason. I did it!!! Yes every one out there who owns a VAIO laptop and Generals you should love me!!! OK it is really easy!

1. Download the Most upto date Direct X you can (always helps)
2. Restart

1. Go to my Documents
2. Go to Command and Conquer Generals Zero Hour Data folder
3. Delete Option.ini
4. Run Normal Generals (AND IT WORKS!!!!!)

Ok step 1 done now to get Zero Hour up.

1. Run Zero Hour (it should just freeze and crash)
2. Stop it using Task manager
3. Go back to My Documents
4. Go to Command and Conquer Generals Data folder
5. Copy its option.ini file (because it works  )
6. Paste it in to Command and Conquer Generals Zero Hour Data folder
7. Play Generals Zero Hour!!!!!!

This is what happened in my case it makes sense this will be the same for everyone else. I think it is because the option file in Zero Hour is bugged at tries to set a resolution that doesn't exist in the game so hence a Video Card Error. This is how to fix it in Command and Conquer the First Decade, I am guessing a similar if not identical tack will work for the original games. If not buy First decade
