Cannot Start TV Timer Recording

I've got a VGC RA304 and whenever a TV recording is scheduled to start it errors with a message "[**Error**] Could not start timer recording. (Error 0x80004005)". The PC is active with no applications running. Manual recording works fine.

Any ideas?

Yes, though I get the same problem if I add a timer recording manually.

The software is very buggy at the moment, they're working on a fix but it;s taking forever to be released.
