AR21M is eating a lot of memory.

Hi all,

I am quite new to the Vaio scene (got mine for about two months now), but somehow the laptop manages to eat a lot of memory.

When I open Outlook and two IE 7 windows my RAM usage dramatically increases, ~600MB/1024. Is this normal? If not, any suggestions?

I have nothing fancy running in the background, except a virus scanner (CA) and Babylon.

Have you looked in Windows Task manager to see what's using the memory.?

Yes I did, sorry I didn't mention that. :smileyblush:

IE is slurping up a lot of memory, have a couple of windows open and they differ from almost 60Mb all the way up to ~100MB. There are no 'heavy' graphics on the pages, just a discission board as this one.

Sounds typical of IE, this window alone is using 22MB
