Wi Fi connected but pc not doing anything...

I have successfully connected my home talktalk wi fi to my tv (KDL 40-HX753) and am using the sony entertainment network- GREAT.

I would now like to set up my HP laptop (pavilion g series) to the tv. I have connected successfully to the tv's wi fi, 'Direct- hv- Bravia', but can you let me know what do I need to do now to see the pc screen on the tv screen so I can show pictures stored on the pc? Hi,

you wont get the desktop on your tv in ny other way than with a DVI cable, ( dont know about HDMI ), however if your intention to view movies/ music/ and pictures your best bet is with a media server such as Homestream.
