I bought a A95L recently (in preference to LG G5) just before they announced the Bravia 8 II which is annoying to say the least. Previously I owned a LG G1 and after a few weeks I realised why I opted for a LG over Sony 4 years ago. The G1 only dimmed static logos whereas its Sony equivalent at the time dimmed the whole picture. This happened with News Banners but also sports like Tennis and Football.
The same dimming occurs with the A95L with News programmes with banners (fair enough) but also with Tennis and other sports with large areas of the same colour and a static score. This utterly ruins my viewing experience which is not funny for £2,000 outlay.
Anybody found a setting to stop this happening?
