Hello all, I have a 46HX853 TV, STR-DN1030 AMP and Sony 3D Blu ray player , all nice and new and shiny.
Could anyone explain WHY is it that when all of the devices are switched on and working ok, when I press the Bravia Sync button on the TV remote there are no devices listed, also, when I try to enable HDMI control via the TV settings I also get the same message, no devices found, all of these devices are Bravia Sync compatible.
I have checked all of the connections they are fine and correct, I have switched on/off/on HDMI control on all devices, still no joy, also, when watching Netflix via the TV app, I could'nt get Dolby Digital unless I connected a optical cable, meaning the ARC isn't working, the amp is connected to the ARC socket so that's baffling.
I have the system up and running, it looks and sounds great, but the connectivity issues really really really annoy me, so much for Sony Bravia sync.
If anyone could shed some light on this it would be appreciated.
