Problems with New Sony Bravia

Hi there,

 

I have a had a brand new Sony Bravia KDL-40WE663 for less than a week. Everything has been great...set up for the TV and Wi-Fi was no problem.

 

However tonight when going into HOME page all the apps have disappeared. If I press either the YouTube or Netflix button it says error 1002 and to check cables. When checking network settings and connection screen says wifi found and that local and internet access ok. I have tried refreshing internet content...resetting modem and nothing has brought the apps back.

 

Any other ideas would be appreciated or is it a case of faulty tv and it has to go back?

Hi @TonyPG 

 

Would you check which firmware version you are on. You should note that your TV is a 2017 model and there has been several changes to the fixed Apps over the last years.
