movies on bravia kdl-32ex650

Why some movies cannot be played on bravia kdl-32ex650? all movies its AVI file and some movies can be played and some cannot...

Hi there

Im not sure how to actually explain this, but....

AVI is just a container, where you can use different encoding codecs, but still be under the AVI container.  Some of the codecs may be supported by your TV, and others cannot.

I would recommend you either converting the files to a format your TV recognises, or use a piece of software called Homestream (or Serviio).  Homestream is Sony's answer to the various file formats/codecs available, which is based on the Serviio software.
