I need some help,
I have KDL40HX723 TV bought recently. This is connected with Camridge audio blue ray player and 640R AV receiver and surround sound speakers. Recently I bought buffalo 500GB external (USB) drive. I connected this to TV's USB slot for HDD recording. I formatted this drive to FAT32 format, registered this on tele via going through settings and registering, I checked the performance check function on tele for this HDD recording disk and it shows it is fine. When I press recording button it says that Recording can not be started as there is no suitable broadcast. Please check connections and retry.
I have tried formatting this disk few times and tried deregistering, registering this on TV but no help.
Do you think is it because INPUTS in Tele is through HDMI2 (which connects AV receiver) and I click on recording button on TV?
Any other ideas?
