I wondered if anyone can help. I've recently brought the above TV and am getting really frustrated by the way it handles the blacks. It struggles with the black contrast and adds a green hue almost as a default to something it can't quite handle, I've made various adjustments and the green really dominates, even with black corrector put to high and LED backlight dropped low etc. My ageing 720P Toshiba is much more accomplished than this new Sony in the blacks.
It's a shame as otherwise it's a nice looking picture. I also can't find any update for this TV on the Sony site (brought from Richer Sounds) so wondered if anyone had any ideas? The only element added is the STRDN1030 amp everythng goes though (SKY HD box and Blu Ray) but I can't imagine this adds the black to green issue.
Any thoughts or advice much appreciated.
