I have just purchased a new KDL55HX853. I am having some problems with the detail levels in dark scenes. Basically anything dark is purely black, no detail at all.
I loaded some calibration pictures and instead of a nice smooth gradient from black to white there is a solid black chunk for about 20% of the band before the gradient suddenly goes to light grey.
Im hoping its just something silly as I love the TV and don't want to return it for a refund if I can help it.
