xperia t sound problem

i dont know if this is a fault or not, but for some reason i cannot hear any sound thru the ear speaker for calls, and i cannot hear music through the external speakers,

oddly i can hear sound and ringtones from the external speakers when i get a call or a text message.

Really confused?

I wasted so many hours for downloading a file of 960 MB and installing it.

I am at ground zero,.The Head phone still does not sound.

I also tried to unistal but it goes for update.Let me try this.
