Xperia T keeps switching off and on since last update
Hi,
My Xperis T keeps switching off and on since the last scheduled update to Android 4.1.2.
I have tried overnight charging whilst phone is off but the situation keeps happening.
Any advice or assistance woud be helpful, especially from Sony Techs Support please.
Can I reverse the update?
Regards,
Alasdair

Charged from 80%-100% everything if e
Charged < 80% (approx) REQUIRES charger attached to get through full boot sequenes (even safe mode)
Once restarted on charger and above 75-85% juice it runs just fine.
I have reloaded everything now several times and several ways including removing SIM and external SD and attempted several complete restarts without any love.
No matter what software it does this and the only work around is to plug it in and operate it above 80% plugged in. I thought battery calibration and did what I could there unroofed but no love.
I noticed that above 80% the battery produces >4000mAh under 80% produces <3000mAh. I am concerned that under 4000mAh the system believes that the battery is dead and has not enough power to run the OS.
I have noticed recently that If I boot the phone while connected to a charger it can then be unplugged after booting completely and have been able to get it to drain to about 50%+- but invariably crashes if any actions are taken (call text, email. Etc) if not hooked to as charger.
I've been managing it by keeping a mophie and another portable battery pack constantly at hand but this blows. There has to be a fix for this issue. Sony PLEASE let us know. I paid close to $300 bucks for this phone at an ATT storr less than 6 months ago and dont believe I should have to have a new battery installed. (If that would even fix the issue)
I have restored to factory settings so many times now Ive lost count and regardless it still does this. WHY??
Anyone else with used tips please advise. PS. I had the loop issue as well where I had to put a rubber band around it and plug it in for 12 hours to recover.
That solved the boot loop issue but now this..help!
Thanks
Thank you.

Annoyingly I've had the thing turn off while being on charge and as,a result been late for a business meeting!! Then while traveling up the motorway using the Google maps navigation it turned off and left me in the dark as to what junction I needed, even though there was 25% battery left.... Then when I turned it back on it was 1%?!! Since then it turns off shortly after I put the mobile data on unless it's plugged in!! Going to be getting in touch with 3 tomorrow to see if they have any response!!!

Hi,
I have my Xperia T working absolutely fine for the first 2 months after I brought from my friend, after the update to 4.3 the phone is acting up and turns off automatically and does not turn on until its plugged into the charger. This problem is not because of the battery life coz when I swich it on connecting the charger I see that there is enough charge left over for the phone to stay idle.
Please do help me if any one is aware of a proper solution.
FYI, tried Hard reset, factory reset, update service but nothing works.
@SONY - Please do fix this issue if not the future for SONY Xperia seems to be dying soon. TO REPEAT THIS ISSUE STARTED AFTER AN IDIOTIC UPDATE OF 4.3, UNTIL WHICH MY PHONE WAS WORKING AS AMAZING AS ANY ON THIS PLANET.

I know it is far too late for most of the people who have posted here - but I think I may have solved the problem. I'll let you know in a couple days as soon as I can replicate the results. Here is the issue that I have found on my wife's Xperia T...After the last major update, her phone would randomly shut off and seemed to drain the battery extremely fast - it would ALWAYS shut off almost immediately after turing on mobile data. What I have found is that the error seems to resolve itself if you turn off AUTO SYNC and re-run the update. It has been 6 hours since I re-ran the update with SYNC turned off and even at 18% battery - it hasn't turned off when mobile data has been activated. Two of her friends have the same phone and I will try to replicate the result and test her phone to see if it resolves the issue.
