I suggest that you try with a software repair on your unit via Update Service:
www.sonymobile.com/global-en/tools/update-service/

Download and install Update Service, and follow the instructions that appear. When you are prompted to connect your phone to your PC, do the following:

1. Connect the phone.
2. Hold the volume down(-) button while pressing the reset button which is located behind the back cover.

How have you tried to hard reset your Xperia SP?  Does the unit restart at a certain moment, e.g at the Sony logo?

I hard reset my phone by going into Settings > Backup & Reset > Erase Everything [On my phone]

When erasing, it shows a triangular sign with a "Settings" icon in it. I switched OFF my phone by poking the end of the pen into the reset >o< hole. This is what happened.

SONY logo > XPERIA logo > Wavy thingy [Like Xperia Z wallpaper]. Then back to the SONY logo.

I cannot find my device.... how??

Press "Select model..." and see if you can find Xperia SP or you can try to reinstall Update Service.

Otherwise you can select Xperia Z1 since you will get the same instruction as choosing Xperia SP.

i tried to, but cannot detect my phone. Any other method?

I tried to use the "Connect The USB Cable Into The Phone While Pressing The Volume Down Button" Method.

Sorry to hear. I suggest that you contact your local support team (http://www.sonymobile.com/global-en/support/contact-us/contact-info/) to get information about nearest service center and how you should proceed in this case.
