I want to make this point on 4.3

 on the specification of the xperia SP  it states

Connectivity and communication

• 3.5 mm audio jack (CTIA)
• aGPS*
• Bluetooth 4.0 wireless technology
• etc
  

however you need android 4.3 for any BT4.0 device to pair with it.

SO WE MUST HAVE 4.3  or higher or for them to enable BT4.0 another way or are they not = committing False Advertising, and againt the trade description act.....

Complained  Sony and got this back... not telling me anything more

I can confirm that this software version is available for your handset, however, the role out of software is a gradual one and therefore takes some time to reach every handset. We would advise that once this is available your handset will notify you of this.

You have been saying it been available since BEGGINING OF  March And some 8weeks later still no indication when Unbranded models on the UK are to receive and you continue to refuse to indicate when this will be. This is not linked to any service provider so its in the control of Sony when they supply the update via the Sony Update Service(SUS)

So so saying   “ the role out of software is a gradual one and therefore takes some time to reach every handset” is no good enough This would not be the case if you put the update on SUS, then it would be available to anyone who tried an update  via SUS.

my next games console... Sony Playstation 4 or Xbox one.... let me think   emmmm  🙂

According to the xperia blog we may see kitkat rolling out as early as June I find that extremely hard to believe as us unbranded devises are still waiting for 4.3. Unless the roll out of kitkat starts before we receive 4.3 and they put us straight on to kitkat that would be a nice surprise from Sony opinions???

For some reason I have a sneaky suspicion that this may be true that people, like myself, with unbranded may jump straight to 4.4. If not it's a complete joke, especially when we've been waiting for god knows how long for 4.3. Buggy or not I'd rather have that than what 4.1.2 is putting me through.
