I can post you my old message posted here in this forum itself in which I was worried because I hadn't received the update even after 15 days of its release. But then one happy day I had received it. By the way at that time Sony was releasing firmware update one after the other and my device had skipped the unstable version of the firmware. I had received stable firmware version. These kind of things also happen.

It can also be anticipated that Sony checks if their update is stable by reading feedback of those who have received the firmware. They do not want to let everyone download the update and if that update is buggy all people complaining about it likewise last year firmware update. I had not received initial firmware version and later I found that it was buggy one and people were complaining.
