Dear SONY,

I am one of many Xperia SP owners. I, like others, am becoming increasingly dissatisfied with the way in which SONY is handling the system update to Android 4.3. I have been a user of this forum for several months. Despite numerous disgruntled customers, you appear not to be doing very much to remedy the present situation. Indeed, why is your participation on this SONY forum notable by its absence?

Please keep your customers informed and updated. Failure to do so has already made me reluctantly decide to switch from SONY when I next upgrade my phone.

This post is directed to SONY. Please reassure me that you are listening to YOUR customers.

Thanks in advance.

JPC

NOTE:

I would like to know why this post has been moved. This post was the first of a new thread, which I was hoping would give SONY an opportunity to answer my question. Now, it is hidden in a thread that is already 65 pages long! My guess is that it must have been moved by SONY. That being the case, could you not have answered my post at the same time?

T-Mobile, yes. Unbranded, no. Have no idea what the holdup is.

Dear Sony,

Why are the unbranded handset owners the last to get the update?

It's just in the UK. I think it might have something to do with the 4g rollout, which is still ongoing. All the other networks have updated now, so not sure why it's still delayed.

it seem only  O2 and Vodaphone have it in UK. I have unbranded.

Just bought a MioLink heart monitor and it said compatible with with xperia SP, only to find once i got it the SP has to be on 4.3. So not only have I got a handset still not updated, but a £90 heartrate monitor which I can't configure or use  ( can only be configured and used  with handst with Bluetooth Smart and 4.3! - beleive to use the Bluetooth smart which sp is cabple of, it has to be on 4.3)

Bet MIO dont know  this as impact their sales

SO to say not happy is an understatement !!!!

How annoying. Like I say - all the networks have gone to 4.3 already, so it can't be much longer for unbranded. Might be worth having a word with Sony UK - 0843 557 3619.
