xperia s phone is charging but the phone is not connected to the charger and steadily

Good afternoon,
I have a problem with the phone, the Xperia phone working properly but the battery label shows that the phone is charging but the phone is not connected to the charger and steadily so.

When the phone is switched off and plug the charger it displays that charges the battery when you disconnect  charger battery phone  gives normal picture batteries but begins turned on the light indication and is sore.

You should take your phone to a sony service.Are you still on warranty?

no longer under warranty but do not know if the software or hadver problem is!

It really does not matter right now,the issue is there and you will not be able to use your phone normally...You should go to a service.
