Xperia S App History issue after latest update

Hi,
Prior to applying the most recent update, when I pressed and held the Home key for about a second, it triggered a list of recently launched apps on the right-hand of the screen, allowing me to easily jump between apps.
After the update doing the same thing now brings me to a Google (Now) page. !! Very annoying!

Anyone experience the same issue?

Is there another way to jump between running apps without going to the home screen and then calling up the app?

Double press home key.
