Unable to move photos from phone to sd card??

I have a number of photos on my phone but I don't think any are saved to my SD card! I don't understand that out of the apps I have I can only save two of them to the sd card and now I am frustrated to find that none of my images are on the sd card either, no wonder the phone has run out of storage space!

I now have the issue that not only can I not seem to be able to transfer my images to my computer because it doesn't show up in any of the confusing software that comes with the phone but I can't even email the images to myself because I can't get my gmail to sync due to the low storage error.

I am seriously stuck, can anyone help? Is there a setting somewhere that I have not found where I can save my media on the sd card?

Settings > apps > all > chrome, facebook, instagram, etc > clear data > restart your phone

Download a file manager or file commander > SD card > DCIM > 100Andro, are your pictures there?

Just realised I was using the wrong cable to connect my phone to my laptop  awkward! lol

You are right, after connecting my phone with the right cable I can access all my photos in that folder!
