Hello decruze.
Well I'm an owner of the Smartwatch which I use with the Xperia S and to be honest it nice to have but not essential. More like a luxury add-on than a gadget which improves user experience.
If you have the money to spare, then yes, but if your on a budget or rather buy something else than its not worth paying £80 -£100 in the UK.
The advantages:
1) Nice watch to be honest, I like it in my opinon
2) Battery life is very good
3) Can read messages and emails from watch instead of phone
4) Can change music and adjust volume with ease
5) Social networking updates (Twitter + Facebook)
Disadvantages:
1) Requires bluetooth so phone has to be close by.
2) Can start calls but only favourite contact
3) Does not help phone's battery life. (Smartphones already have poor batteries)
Im using my smartwatch using Gingerbread (2.3.7) on my Xperia S. Have no clue how it functions with ICS.
I will keep you updated if I have any updates but thats what I have experienced so far.
Hope that helps. =D
What does it actually do? Do you have to have the phone on your persons to use it?

Hello decruze:
I just buy a SmartWatch.I agree with the points give it by Icecoldkiller by the way dont upgrade to ICS you will have a lot of problems see my post: http://talk.sonymobile.com/thread/45398?tstart=0
I need to ad that before buying the SmartWatch I use to have the Ipod nano as a watch and I think the nano looks better than the smart watch, the screen is bigger, the functions are far supperior in the Sony but without the Xperia or other smartphone you have a SmartWatch that cannot give you the Time.. I will not recomend it.
Cool feautures theres 2 applications that help you to found your phone in case you lost it.
no buy
