Dear Jake,
I encounter the same problem as @Askl recently, and the reason is the same too. Because I have gotten my phone rooted, PCC refuses to repaire my phone(lt28i). What should I do?
By the way, besides the bootloop, my phone can't be charged. When I try to charge it, the led light isn't on. But if I unplug the charger, it can be charged as normal after several hours.
Please help me find the reasons and solve them. Thanks.

Remove the SIM card and check again, PCC is no longer supported and XC won't support the Xperia Ion as it has reached it's EOL
What you can do however, is use flashtool/Xperifirm
That seems to be a hardware issue, there's no way to help you through the forum, you will have to contact your Local support
@uliwooly Thank you for replying:smileyhappy:.
It really confuses me. Now I can charge my phone as if nothing happened, so I guess there may be a software problem. I just can't get out of the bootloop(SONY, XPERIA, SONY, X..).
Is there a way to fix it by myself?:smileysick:

@uliwooly Thanks for your advice.
I reflashed my phone as what you said and my phone is back to normal.
I flash my phone twice. I failed to get out of the BOOTLOOP in my first attempt. I even started to suspect that there could be a hardware issue. I didn't wipe APPLOG and USERDATA, which is the only step not following the tutorial I find from the Internet, so I tried to flash my phone again with wiping them. Fortunately, I repaire my phone successfully after the second attempt.
Thanks a lot. By the way, I didn't flash phones before and the tools you mentioned are really easy to use for me.
