during an xperia E software update using usb cable / pc companion, there has very unfortunately been a power interruption.
the phone system is, therefore, currently no more able to boot.
obviously the phone is not recognized by the pc and the system is stucked on the welcome screen.
of course I tried to turn off - on, remove - replace battery, nothing works.
is there any self made recovery mode or the only thing to do is to send it to the service center?

You can try to repair the phone software using PC Companion:

First of all your phone shall be completely turned off when you do this so take out the battery for a while and then put it back again without starting the phone.
In PC Companion, press start on Support Zone > Start on Update the phones software > Press the blue link 'repair phone' and then follow the on-screen instruction in the program.
If this doesn't help I suggest that you have the phone examined by a service center. Please contact your local support for more information:
