i have no voice recorder in my xperia P

Dear sir,

I am the user of Xperia P, i am facing the problem that there is no any option voice recording in this phone. Moreover your voice recorder at this link : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sonymobile.androidapp.audiorecorder&hl=en is not compatible for this model. 

Kindly sort this problem as soon as possible.

If your Xperia P is running 4.1 then it should be compatible, However there are many other 3rd party apps that has this ability

Thanks for reply, my mobile is running on 4.0 version it is the latest version of software for this phone as shown by the mobile. Kindly tell me from where i could get the 4.1 version android updated system for Xperia P.

As far as I can see the Xperia P should be running 4.1.2 Jellybean as per Sony's site, Have you checked with Pc Companion if an update is available
