Brand new Experia T3 can't add contacts

I've just bought an experia T3 and when I add a new contact it doesn't appear in the address book. Any help?

Have you saved it to internal? Perhaps you have a filter set up. Contacts-tap on 3 dots (settings)-filters,uncheck facebook,google etc.
