Brand new ARC S SIM locked?

Hi, i just got a new ARC S (LT18i) just Out of Box, inserted SIM/Battery, turned on, and asking for Sim.prov unlock PIN.

How can i get rid of this? It's a SIM free phone from SE Shop, i am not able to take it back for a few days, any idea?

maybe your SIM card has a lock? is there any other SIM card you can test?

Open the Dialer and press this

Service info -> SIM lock

press back

software info

take screenshots (press and hold the power button -> screenshot)

other sim card (same provider) also rejected.

Network lock 5 there .  Others 0

so it is locked, how bizarre, if you bought it directly from SE it shouldn't be locked, unless it said that it was locked

you can either return/exchange it or pay to get it unlocked, or contact your network they might be able to help you
