fastboot driver for xperia m dual

i have some old xperia m dual

and i wanted to install nicky unofficial android 7.1 on it but when i install fastboot driver on my laptop and check for fastboot version on cmd it says < waiting for device> i tried everything (updating driver, turning off usb debugging, flash boot...)

i just want to install android 7.1 nougat with fastboot or without fastboot

@razi901 wouldn't recommend doing that, cuz unofficial versions may contain malware or vulnerabilities that can compromise your personal data and device security. Only the official updates are tested for safety and performance.

<waiting for device> means Windows isn’t detecting your Xperia M Dual in fastboot. Make sure you:

1. Enter fastboot mode (hold Vol Up + plug USB, blue LED shows).

2. In Device Manager, install the Sony/Flashtool fastboot driver manually.

3. After that, fastboot devices should show your phone → then you can flash TWRP and install the Android 7.1 ROM.
