Xperia L1 speakers not working

Brand new phone out of box and external speakers not working - Retailer states phone has to be sent off for repair!?

Surely it should be a straight replacement?

I recommend that you get in contact with your Local support team as this is a international community, service routines and warranty coverage differs between countries. Your local support is better equipped to answer these types of questions.
