Remove unlock failed feature.

I have work email intalled on my phone meaning that I only get 5 unlock attemps. This means the below feature is triggered after only 1 attempt which is very frustrating. is there any way to turn this feature off or alternitively have it trigger when I have 1 or 2 attempts remaining.

" Unlock Failed

You have entered an incorrect password, PIN or pattern 1 time.

You have five more attemps before device will be factory reset.

To safely continue please Enter the following :

               SONY

Hi @R-A-G,

What you are suppose to do is to enter SONY in capital letters in order to proceed. You will then be asked to enter your screen lock.

Let me know if this answers your question.

I understand that however to have to do that after only getting the pin wrong once is very frustrating. Any way to remove this feature?

How many times you can enter the wrong password before you have to enter SONY to proceed is determined by the EAS provider/network administrator. You would have to disable the device admin in you phone for you email account to disable this, but doing so would remove access to your email account. For further information contact your EAS provider/network administrator.
