Hi @Sebi2, sorry to hear about this. 

I am afraid that the link you provided do not work. Do you receive any kind of error message when you try to zoom while using Instagram or messenger? Also, have you been in contact with the app manufacturers in order to see if they have a solution to this?

One thing that you can try is to clear the data for the apps in question. this will reset all settings for the apps which might do the trick. Do note though that this measure might log you out of the app, so it is crucial to have your username/Email address and password handy. To clear data for the apps, find and tap Settings > Apps & notifications > Show all XX apps > Instagram/messenger > Storage > Clear data > Tap "OK" > Restart the phone.

Try this and let me know how it goes!

Could you please elaborate your question a bit? For example, does the camera not lock in at a specific zoom level or is there something else in the zooming feature that is malfunctioning? Also, as these are apps manufactured by a third party, have you been in contact with the app manufacturers in order to see if they have a solution to your query?
