I need help to restore the button “apps” in my starting screen

My father has an xperia L1 and he deleted  this button and i can’t enter and watch all the apps so i need help to restore this button and “messages”

@Landogear tap longer on the home screen, select the cog wheel and untick hide apps icon.p
